There is diffrence between the VMFS version where the source VM resides compared with the version of the VA or vRanger machine where the volume needs to be mounted.
The diffrrence resides on the fact the VMFS 3 Datastore has a smaller blocksize than the VMFS 4 or 5 Datastore
As a workarround change the transport method to LAN-Transport
To resolve the issue move the VA from a VMFS3 to a VMFS 4 or 5 datastore to match the block size of both VA and VM VMFS datatores
