1. Open a command prompt as administrator.
sc stop "Dell vRanger Physical Client Service" service.
sc delete "Dell vRanger Physical Client Service"
Delete the folder "C:\Program Files\Quest\vRangerPhysicalClient"
Re-run the installer for the vRanger physical client.
The vRanger Physical Client service can now be configured with user credentials and started from "services.msc"
2. Start the installer of the vRanger physical client.
Once the files have been extracted kill the vRangerPhysicalClient.exe*32 process from the task manager.
This will leave the files behind in C:\Program Files\Quest\vRangerPhysicalClient.
Confirm there is also a serviceconfig.txt file containing the correct port or 51000 and a wait time of 1000
The vRanger Physical Client service can now be configured with user credentials and started from "services.msc"
*Note: There will be no Uninstaller. The client will need to be manually uninstalled.
