FLR of Hyper-V VM failing with mount failed. -
Description
When trying to do file level restore (FLR), or FLR from manifest, of Hyper-V virtual machine it fails with mount failed.
In windows event viewer you will see the error:
FATAL usage_invalid_uuid invalid uuid format [at var_open_read_by_uuid_string:2192]

Cause
This is generally caused by a space in the password for the repository or in the password you are trying to use when doing FLR from manifest. -
Resolution
Cahnge repo password to one without space or when doing FLR from manifest use a password that does not contain any spaces. -
