NVBU 10.x.x Installation Fails, checkinstall file error report shows no relevant information -
Description
When trying to install NVBU 10.x.x, install fails with "checkinstall" file error report, but no real relevant information within the file is provided.
Example: checkinstall running Setting INST_DATADIR to C:\Users\administrator\Desktop\netvault\ Install directory is C:\Users\administrator\Desktop\netvault Platform System set to any Platform Architecture set to any Platform Type set to CLASSES=core dataplugin devicectl gui onlinehelp server DISTRO_TYPE=SERVER PKG_BASE=C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest\NetVault Backup\ Install machine operating system matches Netvault intended target Install machine architecture matches Netvault intended target Install machine operating system and version match Netvault Backup Server intended target

Cause
NetVault did not show in "Installed Programs" and was previously uninstalled.
Windows Services still showed a "NetVault PostgreSQL" service running.
The "Quest" NetVault directory was still present (this should not be, as the uninstall script now removes the directories).

Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Stop the NetVault PostgreSQL Services, Delete or Rename the left behind "Quest" NetVault directory and then run the installation (run as Administrator)... and NetVault should install successfully without issue.
(****NOTE**** DO NOT REMOVE/RENAME just any Quest directory, verify that "NetVault" is within it ... that way you know you're removing or renaming the correct one)
