バックアップの詳細設定にて、「Volume Shadow Copy Service(VSS)使用」をチェック（有効）した場合にバックアップが失敗します。 -
Cause
「Volume Shadow Copy Service(VSS)使用」は、未サポートとなります。

“Use Volume Shadow Copy Service” option is not supported – The option “Use Volume Shadow Copy Service” is not supported by the Plug‑in for VMware 2.x. This check box is deselected by default. If you select this check box in the Backup Preferences dialog box, the backups will report the error “Failed to quiesce the guest within VM” and fail. -
Resolution
「Volume Shadow Copy Service(VSS)使用」はデフォルト設定“無効”のままご利用ください。
