1. Click on Manage Devices
2. Click on Add Device
3. Click on "Virtual Tape Library/Media Changer (by default it is chosen automatically), click next
4. Click on the Server you would like to create the Virtual Library on, click Next
5. Enter the Location where you want to create the new VTL (ex: E:\MyVTL)
6. Give your Device a Name (ex: MyVTL)
7. Optional - custom display name
8. Leave Barcode as is, unless you want to customize it... but it cannot be anything previously used.
9. Specify the media capacity (in GB) - (this will be the size of each tape that is created)
10. Choose the number of Drives you want in your VTL (2 drives minimum) - (this will determine how many jobs you can run at one time, to this
Virtual Library)
11. Choose the Number of Slots you want in your Library (this will be how many virtual tapes you can have in your library)
*****Note***** right below your slots options, the Library Wizard will show you how much Disk space you will need to accomplish the configuration you're trying to choose/set up for your Virtual Library. If you do not have enough disk space, you will need to modify your settings.
