Web interface frozen, no more backups launched -
Description
On initial log-in to Web Interface the Server Monitor page is blank. When another menu item is selected the NetVault Backup Web interface (WebUI) freezes and eventually goes back to login page. At the same time jobs fail, some fail and leave no corresponding logs, others show as aborted and/or complete with errors.
This issue is found more often in environments with a large number of Clients. -
Cause
NetVault WebUI stops responding to any requests when the idle postgresql.exe processes were not properly terminated and the number of these processes running on the NetVault Backup Server reached the maximum configured limit.

WORKAROUND: None
STATUS: This issue has been resolved in NetVault Backup 10.0.1.38, available for download from our New Release Page: Download New Releases
