Repository import failure. Child savepoints must appear after parent in the manifest file.

When attempting to import an existing repository into vRanger, the following error occurs: "Repository import failure. Child savepoints must appear after parent in the manifest file".

This is caused by characters in the metadata files causing the xml to be misread. In one case, an apostrophe used in a datastore name caused the xml interpretation to fail because the apostrophe was interpreted as a quote and there was no matching quote to create a pair.

You can edit all of the metadata files in which the offending character appears and remove the offending special character. This will allow the repository to be imported. The long-term fix to prevent recurrence is to rename the repository to remove the offending character.
