A VA-based job fails with the error "2712 - Can't create the directory CIFS", if CIFS repository is located on a Linux-based storage device (DataDomain, ExaGrid and various NAS'es). When the job is modified to run as Machine-based (i.e. off vRanger server), it runs successfully.
The full path to the repository is case-sensitive, so if the case doesn't match, then the VA cannot access CIFS share.
Make sure that the full path to a repository typed in correct case, when you're adding a CIFS repository to vRanger. The easiest way to achieve this is to use "Browse" button to select repository folder.
