Description
VA based backups fail with the error message " Virtual Appliance connection information is missing". -
Cause
VA's were originally setup without static ip addresses, and used DHCP to assign ip addresses.
After work done on environment, DHCP was turned off.

Resolution
Turning back on DHCP resolved the issue.
It may be necessary to re-boot VA's.
