A Vmware based Rapid Recovery core shows Disk Warning 157, "Disk # has been surprise removed" in System Event Logs
Description

Warning message 157 is present and frequent on an ESXi hosted Rapid Recovery Core.
Errors similar to below are observed:
Cause

These warnings are consistent with a Rapid Recovery core, hosted on an ESXi platform and protecting agentless VM's using the HotAdd transport mechanism.
Resolution

The errors can be safely ignored in the context of the Rapid Recovery HotAdd agentless snapshot process.
For a non ESXi based core the message should be investigated
