Vmware Plugin grouping multiple vm's -
Description
We are trying to group multiple vm's into one job or policy to decrease the number of jobs we have in our installation. We have found out however that whenever we group multiple vm's into a job we cannot create incremental or differential backups. Is there any way to group virtual machines into a job or policy ? -
Resolution
The best way to group multiple VM's is by using container objects within the Virtual Center.
As described in the NetVault Backup Plug-in for VMware User Guide selection of containers is possible starting at the DataCenter level.
