Error: 2760 - FATAL vix_cant_open_detail VIX can't open (4036193)

WORKAROUND 1

Since VDDK 5.5 needs the vRanger account to be at the VC level please follow these steps to add the vRanger account to the VC correctly. 

1.  Log into the VC via the vSphere client.
2.  If you want the vRanger account to have the minimum required permissions please use the following link to create a new role for the vRanger user, https://support.quest.com/technical-documents/DOC166288.
3.  Click on the VC at the top of the VMware inventory list. 
4.  Click on the Permissions Tab.
5.  Click File, point to New, Click on Add Permission...
6.  Under the Assigned Role drop down select the role you want the vRanger user to have.
7.  Click the Add button.
8.  Click the drop down under the domain to find the vRanger user in the correct domain or locally on the VC machine.
9.  Click the vRanger user Click Add then Click OK.
10. Once the user has been added now attempt your vRanger backup once again and this time as long as the role for the vRanger user has been setup correctly.
