Description
vRanger's is installed on a virtual machine and the disk file(s) for this virtual machine (.vmdk) is/are in a folder of another virtual machine.

Cause
This would not be caused by vRanger. Issue may be caused by a failed vmotion.

Resolution
Storage vMotion the vRanger virtual machine to another Datastore make sure to select all the components to allow for all the virtual machine files including the disk file(s) (.vmdk) to be placed in the same folder on the same datastore. -

Recommend that customer talk to VMware support.
