Restore Error "Generating tasks for all savepoints failed"
Description

During restore getting error: Generating tasks for all savepoints failed. I tried to restore other servers, but still get the same error.
Cause

Most common issue (among others) Host and VC are both setup to authenticate and may cause vRanger's databse to malfunction especially if one of the authenticating hosts has changed or disconnected causing this error.
Resolution

Run vRanger in DEBUG mode to capture logs and verify the sourse of error to be host authentication
Remove ALL host authentications affecting the restore
You will need to recreate the restore jobs as any jobs created prior to host authentication removal are still linked to hosts in the databse and will fail
