Cause
Credentials/permissions of the accounts used by vRanger -
Resolution
When moving the vRanger to a new or different Active Directory domain, please check the following to make sure that the accounts used have been setup and have the appropriate permissions/access:
1. Credentials used for the vRanger services
2. Credentials used to connect to the vCenter server and/or ESX hosts
3. Credentials used to connect the Repositories
Also, please re-configure the database connection to the vRanger database. In vRanger 6.x and lower, run the vRanger Database tool. In vRanger 7, change the installation settings using Control Panel -> Programs
