vRanger backup fails with "Error: CreateSnapshot_Task failed...." -
Description
When attempting a vRanger backup it is observed that the job fails with:
"Error: CreateSnapshot_Task failed. The API returned: <detail><NoPermissionFault xmlns="urn:vim25" xsi:type="NoPermission" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"><object type="VirtualMachine">vm-2671</object><privilegeId>VirtualMachine.State.CreateSnapshot</privilegeId></NoPermissionFault></detail>."

Cause
A possible cause of this issue is that the user credentialing Virtual Center in vRanger does not have the adequate permissions to perform the backup. -
Resolution
Ensure that the user used to credential Virtual Center in vRanger has the necessary permissions.
