Error during Export of a Windows 2012 Agent to a VMware Environment -
Description
The following error appears when exporting a Windows 2012 agent to an ESXi host:
“VCenter Exception. VMware ESXi 5.0.0 build xxxxx does not support WindowsServer2012, please use ESXi 5.1.0 build 799733 or higher.”
VMware only provides support for Windows 2012 exports to hosts running ESXi 5.0 U1 and above. Users must ensure that patch ESXi500-201209001 is installed prior to attempting an export from a Windows 2012 machine.
