When attempting to restore an item or items from a mailbox using Mail Retriever, the error "JET_errKeyDuplicate, Illegal duplicate key" appears in place of folders/mailbox items under the username.
The logs and database were improperly placed within the 'open' database and logs prompt when opening an EDB for restore.
SOLUTION:
Ensure that proper procedures are being followed when connecting to the database and logs. Likely, the recovery point was manually mounted and an error was made in specifying the paths to the mailbox database, logs, and/or system path.
It is important to know that when you specify the path to the database, Mail Retriever will automatically fill in the remaining path fields. However, these paths default to the same path as the database, which is incorrect for most environments. Please verify each of the paths and manually insert the correct paths.
