Why does the temporary directory of Sharepoint plugin not clear? -

Netvault temporary folder is growing and is taking a lot of space. Where does the content comes from and how to clear this? -
Resolution
Snippet from the "NetVault Backup Plug-in for SharePoint" :Every backup stores information, called a backup package, in this directory.The backup package for a Full Backup must be available for a DifferentialBackup to be performed because a Full Backup is the base of all subsequentDifferential Backups. User can add a prescript that will delete the contents of the temp directory automatically before running the full backup job. Create the prescript first.
