Description

Linux File Level Restore fails with "Error: Failed to attach one or more var files".

A Linux FLR restore from a DDBoost Repository experienced this error.
Cause

The VA kernel logs showed the disk is mounted successfully, there appears to be a FLR timeout issue.
Resolution
Increase the FLR timeout:
1. Go to Vizioncore.vRanger.Service.exe configuration file (C:\Program Files\Quest\vRanger) and open it with an administrative Notepad or Wordpad.
2. Change the following value from default value 30 seconds to 60 seconds.
3. <add key="LFLRTimeout" value="30"/>
4. Restart vRanger services.
5. Retry the Linux FLR.
