Determining if This Hotfix/Patch Is Needed
This section describes the issue addressed by this patch. This hotfix/patch should only be applied if you are experiencing the following situation: This patch should be applied to any NetVault: Backup version 9.0 through 9.2 to add support for StorageTek T10000D Tape Drives.

Compatibility of This Hotfix/Patch: The following is a list of product versions and platforms compatible with this hotfix/patch.
NetVault Backup: V9.0 , V9.1, V9.2 "All Supported Platforms"
"Installing the Support Pack (pch_stk10kd-1-0-1-0.npk)"
1. From the machine acting as the NetVault Server, launch the GUI and access the Client Management window by clicking either of the Client Management buttons in the command toolbar (or select the Client Management command from the Administration pull-down menu).
2. Right-click on the NetVault machine configured as the Backup Server in the Clients frame and select Install Software from the pop-up menu.
3. Navigate to the location of the Template file software (i.e., the "pch_stk10kd-1-0-1-0.npk" file). Select the file and click on Open to begin the installation process.
4. Once installation has completed, a successful installation message will appear in the Install Software dialog box.
5. With this, the template software has been successfully installed and the device can now be successfully added to the NetVault Server for use.
"Determining if This Hotfix/Patch Is Installed"
1. From the machine acting as the NetVault Server, launch the GUI and access the Client Management window by clicking either of the Client Management buttons in the command toolbar (or select the Client Management command from the Administration pull-down menu).
2. Right-click on the NetVault machine configured as the Backup Server in the Clients frame and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
3. Click on the Installed Software Tab.
4. Look for the StorageTek T10000D Tape Drive Support Pack description to verify installation.
"Removing This Hotfix/Patch"
1. From the machine acting as the NetVault Server, launch the GUI and access the Client Management window by clicking either of the Client Management buttons in the command toolbar (or select the Client Management command from the Administration pull-down menu).
2. Right-click on the NetVault machine configured as the Backup Server in the Clients frame and select Remove Software from the pop-up menu.
3. Click on the StorageTek T10000D Tape Drive Support Pack.
4. Select Remove to complete the removal process.
