Disable Media Full notifications based on device type, physical tape or virtual tape.
Description
How do I modify the "Media Full" global notification so that I can disable it from sending alerts for virtual tapes which have filled up and instead only alert for physical tapes? Virtual tapes require no action when they become full and therefore notifications are just noise. Physical tapes must be changed out.
Resolution
There is no way to disable Media full notifications for virtual tapes. Enhancement Request number 23711 has been submitted to Development for possible consideration in a future release of NetVault Backup.
