vRanger 7.0 - Restore Priority (Video) (4033105)

When a restore job is started it is more likely to be an emergency and usually needs to be executed as quickly as possible.

This can be a problem if the restore needs to occur during the backup window as there can be many backup jobs in the queue.

Beginning with vRanger 7.0, restore tasks will be given a higher priority in the vRanger Job Queue.

For example, if a restore task needs to be executed during the middle of a backup job, the expected behavior is as follows:
•Backup tasks that are already in progress will complete.
•Once a free slot is open (Determined by the configuration maximum), the restore task will execute.
