Description
The Rapid Recovery BootCD creation process fails at the final step of cleaning up the temporary files - Removing Temporary Files. UAC is turned off & the user account has full rights have been granted to paging file
Error Seen
On the core console: volume D: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'D:_Cache folders_WinCache\sys\BootCdBuilderozjo5xuo.kji\UnpackedWim' is denied. at System.IO._Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.File.InternalDelete(String path, Boolean checkHost) at Replay.Core.Implementation.BootCdBuilder.Jobs.DeleteBootCdTemporaryFilesJob.DeleteFilesTask() at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.Execute()

Cause
The issue is caused not because of UAC or permission as it is showing in the core console. However, the issue is caused by the error seen in the AppRecovery logs, a file or folder path to be restored is greater than 260 characters. -
Resolution
Therefore, the path to the paging file will have to be shorten to resolve this issue.
For example:
- In the error listed above, the paging file is located at:D:\_Cache folders\_WinCache\sys
- This will have to be changed to: D:\_Cache\_Win\s
After the change, the core OS will have to be restarted to adapt the new path.
NOTE: Please refer windows, best practices recommendation, when moving the paging file.
