Can I restore a VM that is no longer in my repository?

From the vRanger toolbar, click Add->Restore Job. |

(Optional) If the savepoint is encrypted, enter the encryption password. |

For each VM, the connected network adapters will be listed: In the Restore To Host column, select the virtual network to which the vNIC should be connected. |

Force Overwrite: This will overwrite any existing disk/config files of the same name as those in the destination host. |

Force Power On: This will power on the VM after the restore. |

Perform LAN-free restore: This will route the restore using Hot Add (if vRanger is installed on a virtual machine) or over fiber or iSCSI (if vRanger is on a physical machine). |

Perform Network restore on LAN-free Failure: This will perform the restore over the network if theLAN-free restore fails. |

Click the Selected column checkbox that corresponds to each recipient who should receive email notification about this job. |

The Email a report after the job is finished checkbox is selected by default. Deselect it, if you like. |

If you did not choose to run the restore from the wizard, access the Working Inventory pane. Select a job to restore. |
