Intermittent backup failures with "Error: 2760 - FATAL vix (You do not have access rights to this file)"
Description
It is observed that intermittently, backups are failing with "Error: 2760 - FATAL vix (You do not have access rights to this file)"
Error message detailing failure to update notes in vCenter with the backup details is present as well.
Cause
Quiesced backup of the vCenter server is running at the same time, causing the inability to update notes and to communicate with vCenter causing the 2760 Error message.
