Windows v2004 has been released. What's new in Windows 10, version 2004 for IT Pros and Windows 10, version 2004 and Windows Server, version 2004 are a couple of resources directly from Microsoft which may help with knowledge of changes, known issues, and repaired issues. Windows 10 v2004 Windows Feature Update (WFU) is now available in the KACE Catalog and ready to be deployed via a Windows Feature Update Schedule.
Note: While this upgrade is made available within the KACE Catalog, the KACE Agent team strives to ensure the certification process is thoroughly considered. As such, Full Support for the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) (Agent and Agentless) is not yet available and Windows v2004 is under Limited Support until the certification process is completed. For more information about this and what it might mean in your specific environment, please see Windows 10 version 2004 and Windows Server version 2004 Agent Support.
Note: Please see the Critical Warnings with Windows 10 version 2004 before considering an upgrade on any device.
At this time, Microsoft has only made this update available to devices that are currently on Windows 10 v1903 or Windows 10 v1909. As such, any other version will detect as not applicable and this is expected behavior. If Microsoft makes changes in the future to include additional versions, KACE does expect to follow and this article would be updated.
If the update detects as not applicable in expected versions (v1903 or v1909), please contact technical support to begin an investigation.
