Protection of vCenter/ESXi 7.0 fails with: 6.x version of the ESX(i) server is not tested for compatibility. -
Description
Rapid Recovery Core server will loose communicaion with the Vcenter/ESXi host after upgrading ESXi to version 7.
The next scenario applies:
- Vcenter/ESXi host and virtual machines protected as agentless will change status to offline.
- You will not be able to protect virtual machines as agentless.
You see the next error when you try to protect a virtual machine as Agentless or when the RapidRecovery Core tries to get metadata.
Replay.Common.Contracts.Virtualization.VcenterException: 6.x version of the ESX(i) server is not tested for compatibility. Please check that you have the latest update.

Cause
As of current release of Rapid Recovery 6.4, support for VMWare vSphere ESXi 7.0 is limited.
