User creates an appointment, inviting attendees, adds the resource mailbox (e.g. a meeting room) as a Resource, then tries to send the appointment out.
At this time one or more of the following Outlook errors appear:
1. Unable to directly book the resource "Conference room". The resource does not allow the direct booking for recurring appointments. Would you like to send a meeting request to the resource instead? If not, you may want to remove the resources from the attendee list.
2. Unable to open the free/busy information. You do not have permission to create a message in this folder. Unable to directly book a resource for this meeting.
3. The operation failed. An object could not be found. Unable to directly book a resource for this meeting.
This problem is caused by the invitation going through the redirection mechanism to the other Exchange organization. This could be if a user was switched while the resource mailbox is still on the source side and has "Automatically accept meeting requests and process cancellations" option enabled.
Log on to the corresponding target resource mailbox and log off.

Issue has been resolved in 8.0. The latest version of Quest Migration Manager for Exchange can be downloaded at: http://support.quest.com/support_download/Downloads.asp
This article does not apply when using the latest QMM versions, the issue has been resolved in all 8.x versions.
When troubleshooting such issues permissions on source and on target resource mailbox should be compared and if there is a difference then a mail and calendar resynchronization should be performed with the option selected "Mailbox folder permissions and folder associated information".
