In a large Enterprise migration, the following maybe involved: Windows 2000/2003, Windows NT, Exchange 2000/2003 and Exchange 5.5. This means that both Exchange Migration Wizard and Quest Migration Manager need to be used. Can and how do both products coexist?

Resolution
-Installing EMW and QMM consoles on the same machine is not supported.
-Both products can use the same SQL instances but different databases for their projects.
-Exchange servers can not participate simultaneously in EMW or QMM migrations at the same time. For example if the same Exchange server on the target is used to migrate from Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000/2003 organizations one migration needs to be completed first, all agents (mail, calendar, public folder and Free/busy) uninstalled and new agents installed for another migration.
