Unable to pull information from a child domain -
Description
I have single forest which contains two child domains. Data collected is only of parent domain, no data is being collected from child domain. -
Cause
The domain controllers configured in UCA must be Global Catalogue servers and have information about both the parent and child domains. -
Resolution
Check the domain controller settings in UCA as follows:
- Go to Admin Settings | Data Collection | Domain controller.
- Select "Show Advanced Settings" and change "Domain Controller" to "Use specific domain controller".
- Specify a domain controller that is a Global Catalogue server and contains information about both the parent and child domains.
