When trying to start a Core service, it starts, then stops shortly. Port 8006 is not used, and verified by the netstat -aon | find "8006" command.
Event Viewer, System shows HTTP error: "Unable to bind to the underlying transport for 0.0.0.0:8006. The IP Listen-Only list may contain a reference to an interface which may not exist on this machine. The data field contains the error number."
Checking registry, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\HTTP\Parameters\ListenOnlyList shows that value doesn't exist. Creating it and setting it to 0.0.0.0 doesn't help.
To resolve the issue, please make sure that Core service is stopped.
Open regedit and navigate to:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\AppRecovery\Core\CoreSettings - ServicePort and WebServer port are both 8006
HKLM\SOFTWARE\AppRecovery\Core\webServer - ServiceBaseAddress is a local machine name with 8006 port
HKLM\SOFTWARE\AppRecovery\Core\serviceHost - ServiceBaseAddress is a local machine name with 8006 port
HKLM\SOFTWARE\AppRecovery\Core\ReplayEngine - Port is set to 8008, PreferablePort is 8007
Start the Core service
