When running xrt_auth, the following error comes up
xrt_auth: Error while loading shared libraries: libelf.so.0 cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory.
The libelf library package is needed for the licensing software to be able to access the internals of an ELF format executable.
We have found that most systems have this library installed by default.
If your system is reporting the error message above, you will need to obtain this library for your operating system from your vendor and install it. Once this is done, on most platforms you can run "ldd xrt_auth" to ensure that the OS is recognizing where the shared library was installed to. If it is still reported missing, check your system documentation on adding paths for dynamic library installations.
