Today, group membership events only include the user's logon (samAccountName). For example:
"domain\User1 was added to group domain\domain admins as a direct member."
In alerts it can make it difficult to connect to the actual user name. In large organization user accounts may be given samAccountName which are hard to associate with an actual person.
John Smith has a samAccountName of JS1234.
"domain\JS1234 was added to group domain\domain admins as a direct member."
It would be helpful to quickly if the display name were included to so users receiving the alert may know the actual user identity quickly.
