Warning logged in the Event Log on the Console system, "Low disk space detected on volume C:"
There is no way through the product to purge MessageStats Application Logs. The location to where the MessageStats Application logs and the Tracking Log files are saved can be changed.
Update: Starting from version 6.1.1, there's a new feature in MessageStats 6.1.1 that schedules management of the application logs.
To configure this feature:
- Expand the "Task Execution Servers" node.
- Right click on the server you wish to configure and select "Properties".
- In the Properties dialog, select the "Task Logging Archive" tab and you will see the options that are available to you.
Your corporate policy can dictate whether to delete or backup the logs.
See the following on where to change the location of Application logs and Tracking Logs.
Application logs - right click the Scheduler Server node which is right below the MessageStats node and select Properties. Within Properties, select the Application Logs tab and here is where the location of the Application logs can be changed. Also make sure that the Log detail level is = to Status.
Tracking Logs - right click the Tasks node selecting Properties then selecting the Tracking Log Cache tab. Within the Tracking Log Cache tab, the location to where the temporary tracking logs are stored can be changed. There should never be any temporary tracking logs left in this location because after the product purges the data it deletes the copied tracking log.
