After upgrading Migration Manager to a supported version such as 8.11, on occasion it may be found that it is no longer then possible to create a new mailbox or calendar synchronization job from the upgraded Console.
The Console log (EMWMigration.log) contains a sequence of entries with a warning of the form:
Re-add both source and target organizations in DMM console. To do that, right-click the Source and Target Exchange Organization nodes in turn, selecting the Add Source\Target Exchange Organization... command from the shortcut menu. During enumeration please specify the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) of the global catalog server and select "Use Global Catalog for Enumeration".
After re-adding the organizations the project's SQL database should be properly upgraded and new jobs can now be added.
