A shadowed database that is out of sync. However, only one dataset for the database is out of sync. Is it possible to resync the database by storing and restoring the rootfile and the dataset for the database that is out of sync?
The only supported method for resyncing a database is a full store and restore of the database, regardless of the number of sets that are out of sync.
At your discretion, you may attempt to resync the database by storing and restoring the root file and the dataset that is out of sync.
For example, an attempt of this type of resync can be done if the dataset that is out of sync is a standalone master. Then you could store and restore the root file of the database along with the dataset. If the dataset is anything other than a standalone master, you would have to store the root file of the database, the dataset that is out of sync, along with any other datasets that set is linked to in Image.
