On Demand Migration for Email (ODME) migration was interrupted with a 'Failed to find or create folder' error message.
Many users had the migration interrupted with many "Failed to find or create folder" errors on a migration plan.
The users had an E1 license assigned and the data was partially migrated.
The “Failed to find or create folder” error message could be related to having symbols like &, <, >, foreign symbols like ö or ø etc in the folder names.
Are these symbols like these being used in folder names?
These would have to be amended and then run the migration again.
Additionally if this error is happening on the target side, then these are generally transient errors due to only getting a partial or otherwise incomplete/invalid response from the target Exchange server.
Therefore you could try the problem migration at another time.
