Description
If a node becomes faulted, are there any events logged that could be monitored? -
Resolution
Enterprise Reporter 3.0 and later now log an event to the Windows Event log when a node goes into a faulted state and when it recovers.
The Event log is located in Event Viewer under the Applications and Services Logs > Quest Enterprise Reporter
When a node enters a FAULTED state, the following message will be logged to the Event log:Node 'NODENAME' is now in a FAULTED stateWhen a node exists a FAULTED state, the following message will be logged to the Event log:Node 'NODENAME' is no longer in a FAULTED state -
