Process data is not displayed for a Linux VM host under the VMWare Explorer dashboard.
This Host is Not Currently Being Monitored
Navigation Panel| Homes| Hosts
There are 2 Host objects and the process data is associated with one of the Host objects (the one with N/A for OS metrics).
The system ID is in upper case for one of the Host objects, and the system ID is in lower case for the other. Both Host objects are being currently updated and initially had the same name associated with them.
The process data can be viewed from one of the host entries under the Infrastructure or Host dashboard.
Setting "Collect System ID" to false under the properties of other UnixAgents addressed the problem for other hosts.
Setting the "Collect System ID" property value to false for the UnixAgent monitoring the VM host in question did not help. The problem VM host has an FglAM running on it and has a UnixAgent monitoring the host locally.
Setting the "system.id.enabled" parameter to "false" in the client.config file of the Foglight Angent Manager (FglAM) did not help.
