1. The vCenter is showing offline along with all agentless virtual machines associated are no longer backing up because the credentials for the vCenter or ESXi host have changed and you either do not know the existing credentials used to protect with the core or they may have been forgotten.
2. The vCenter is showing offline along with all agentless virtual machines associated are no longer backing up after an infrastructure (Vcenter or ESXi) upgrade. Apprecovery.log is showing errors "the session is not authenticated" when trying to refresh metadata for VMs.
How to do you update the vsphere connection on the core console to either reset or change the logon information?
This is a known issue in Rapid Recovery 6.0.1 and 6.0.2 does not have any setting on the core console to be able to change the logon information for the ESXi host or vCenter if credentials have either been changed or are forgotten.
Contact Support immediately to request for a patch to enable this feature on the core console. The patch will display two new fields to enter in the new username and password, this will be found within the ESXi settings tab.
