K1000 appliances that previously has Single Sign On (SSO) enabled prior to upgrading to K1000 Server version 6.3 find that the SAMBA share is inaccessible via the Host Name.
SAMBA share can only be accessed via the IP Address of the K1000.
If SSO was enabled in 6.2, SAMBA share only works by IP Address after upgrade to 6.3
NOTE: This issue has been resolved in version 7.0 of the K1000. Instructions to update the K1000 to version 7.0 can be located within the 7.0 release notes.
NOTE: Disabling Single Sign On (SSO) from within the K1000 settings (Settings | Control Panel | Security Settings) will not resolve the SAMBA share hostname/FQDN access problem at this time.
This issue is due to be resolved in a future release.
