When trying to access a model, the. txj file cannot be launched and does not open the model.
How can a model be accessed? How can a .txj file be launched?
A file with .txj extention is a "project" file. A project could be assocated to a model.
A file with .txp extention is a "model" file (specifically physical model). A .txl is a logical model file.
Launch Toad Data Modeler, go to File | Open | Open Project, then select the .txj file. This will open the project in the Application View. Expand the nodes in the project and drill down into "model". This should lead to the associated model file. If a model is not found om the expected path, Toad will prompt accordingly.
By default, the path for models and projects are noted under Settings | Options | Paths, i.e. C:\Users\<personal>\Documents\Toad Data Modeler\Standard Installation 2\Projects\. Within the Project folder is a Model folder, where associated models are by default stored. If the model is moved, navigate Toad to the expected path of the model file as necessary.
Or Launch Toad Data Modeler, go to File | Open | Open Model, and select the .txp file to open the model directly.
