The web interface of the K1000 is not opening up or responding.
Most commonly the box is found to be busy carrying out backup process. Other reasons can be system performing bootup with database checkup, update of the appliance or in rare cases there may be hung process that prevents the Graphical User Interface (GUI) from being available.
most often the backup schedule has been accidentally reset to work hours
after waiting for the usual backup time, see the GUI becoming available again and check the System | Settings | Backup and review the schedule, and save.
System boot issues
see if the system responds to ping, by pinging the hostname or the ip address of the host, if the system does not respond, check the appliance for error messages on its LCD panel or if you have iDRAC configured (http://www.itninja.com/blog/view/idrac-for-k-appliances ), see the console for any error messages.

in rare cases there may be hung process or Service Desk ticket process loop that causes the resources of the K1000 to be consumed
in such case the box still answers to SSH. Use Putty to connect to the hostname or ip address of the box and see if the connection is accepted
call Kace Support and we will engage L3 agent to address the hung process issue with root privileges.
in case the Kace appliance is not responding and is considered to be down, customers are entitled to getting the issue addressed within 1 hour and related L3 escalation created then, also within 1 hr starting from when the escalation is created after initial troubleshooting and gathering the facts for L3.
