The status of the Access Explorer agents may show the following error:
"The file system scan manager was unable to start it's change watcher"
The logs may show errors similar to the following:
"The file system scan manager was unable to start it's change watcher. Since the current configuration requires remote change watching to be enabled, a scan will not be performed"
Remove Quest Access Manager from the environment:
If the agent installation fails with errors similar to the following, please see https://support.quest.com/kb/144829:
"The location of the Access Manager Managed Host installation files could not be read from the required registry location:
Software\quest software\broadway\agent management: Path_AgentMaintenanceLogs"
