When using 64 bit Java, is it possible to start a TPAM PSM Session? (4304138)

Version 2.5.916 and higher

PSM sessions now run using Java Network Launch Protocol (JNLP) outside of the browser. Java 64 bit can be used regardless of browser being used.

Versions 2.5.914 and 2.5.915

Java 64 bit is supported, however, due to limited 64 bit browser support for Java, a 32 bit browser/Java is recommend.

Firefox 64 bit does not support running Java.

Enabling 64 bit support in Internet Explorer (IE) varies by version, some guidance is below, refer to the OS documentation for more information and configuration.

In IE 10 Enable "Enable Enhanced Protected Mode".

In IE 11 Enable "Enable Enhanced Protected Mode", and "Enable 64-bit processes for Enhanced Protected Mode".

If IE is still running in 32 bit mode, the errors "Waiting for okToConnect to be defined." and "TypeError: Object doesn't support property or method 'okToConnect'" may be seen.
