How can I test my On Demand Migration for Email (ODME) source and/or target Connection settings using the Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer?
On-premise
1.) Go to https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/, ensure you're on the "Exchange Server" tab
2.) Select "Service Account Access (Developers)" under the "Microsoft Exchange Web Services Connectivity Tests" heading.
3.) Click Next.
4.) For the "Target mailbox" enter the end-user's mailbox you are trying to open.
5.) For the "Service Account User Name" enter your source Exchange migration admin account.
6.) If you have specified a specific EWS URL within the ODME Connection Settings, then enter the same URL here.
7.) Check "User Exchange Impersonation" and enter the end-user's mailbox you are trying to open, same as step 4.
8.) Click Perform Test.
9.) The result should be very similar to the errors reported by ODME, but with much greater detail.
Office 365
1.) Go to https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/, ensure you're on the "Office 365" tab
2.) Select "Service Account Access (Developers)" under the "Microsoft Exchange Web Services Connectivity Tests" heading.
3.) Click Next.
4.) For the "Target mailbox" enter the end-user's mailbox you are trying to open.
5.) For the "Service Account User Name" enter your source Exchange migration admin account.
6.) Check "User Exchange Impersonation" and enter the end-user's mailbox you are trying to open, same as step 4.
7.) Click Perform Test.
8.) The result should be very similar to the errors reported by ODME, but with much greater detail.
