Prerequisites:
The command line to run the setup process should look like this:
sources\setup.exe /auto upgrade /installfrom sources\install.wim /dynamicupdate disable
Being sources the path to a network share where Windows 10 ISO image has been decompressed.
The new created script should look like this:
1. Create a new Online Kscript
2. Create a task and add the following steps
3. Select the targeted devices. (Please be sure to select Windows as the targeting operating system since this will be needed later when selecting registry verification process.
4. On "Windows Run As" section select "Local System"
5. Verify a registry value is exactly…
5.1. Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
5.2. Name: ProductName
5.3. Equal To: Windows 10 Enterprise
Enterprise should be changed to your installing version.
6. On Success:
6.1. Select: Log message
6.2. Status: Windows 10 already installed
7. Remediation:
7.1. Run a batch file
7.1.1. Script name: updatewin10 (or any preferred name)
7.1.2. Batch File: \\setup.exe /auto upgrade /installfrom \\sources\install.wim /dynamicupdate disable
8. Save the script.
