Wrong user is displayed under Machine Details > Inventory Information > User for some Linux systems. -
Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. Login to the X-Windows session of a SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) system using an account other than root.
2. Add the device to the K1. Be sure to specify a user account of root.
3. Force inventory.Actual results: The user name displayed in the "user" fields is root (or the user who performed the inventory).
Expected results: The user name displayed in the "user" fields should be the user currently logged into the X-Windows session.
Reproduced this on SLES 10 update 2, and SLES 11 update 3.
